BIO

Holds a Master's degree in Law, specialising in Legal and Criminal Sciences, from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, and a PhD in Law, specialising in Legal Sciences, from the Autonomous University of Lisbon.

Author of the monographs ‘A prova digital em processo penal: o correio eletrónico, Chiado Editora, 2017, 2.ª Edição, Lisboa’; ‘O agente encoberto digital, Meios especiais e técnicos de investigação criminal, Almedina, 2022, Coimbra’; ‘Casos Práticos Direito Contraordenacional: 2023, 2.º Edição (revista e aumentada), Coimbra’; and various scientific articles in national and foreign journals.

CV

With more than 20 years' experience as a criminal investigator in the area of computer crime and technology, Armando Dias Ramos is the Chief Inspector of the Public Prosecution Service (PJ). Since April 2023, he has been a senior officer (Criminal Investigation Coordinator) and is assigned to the National Unit for Combating Cybercrime and Technological Crime (UNC3T). 
Has also been a university professor for 12 years, and for the last 6 years has been a Visiting Adjunct Professor at ISCAL.
