- National representative of the Judiciary Police in the ENFIN network — European Network for Financial Investigations
- Participation representing the Judiciary Police in various meetings, seminars, working groups, and training activities, both nationally and internationally
- National and international speaker on topics related to internal security, strategy, and the economic-financial aspects of crime
- Author of several published articles and works, including the article “Asset Recovery, New Trends and Challenges”, published in the book “The New Asset Recovery Regime — In Light of Directive 2014/42/EU and the Law Implementing It”, edited by INCM

Academic Qualifications:
- Master's in Strategy with the thesis “Recovery of the Economic Product of Criminal Activity: A Strategic Governance Tool for Promoting Internal Security in Portugal” from ISCSP
- Bachelor's in Criminology from the Faculty of Law, University of Porto

Professional Experience:
- In September 2023, began duties as Director of the Institute of Criminal Police and Forensic Sciences (Portugal), a position he currently holds.
- In September 2020, took on a leadership role as Director of the Financial and Accounting Expertise Unit of the Judiciary Police (Portugal).
- After being promoted to Criminal Investigation Coordinator, he coordinated the Corruption Investigation Section at the Northern Directorate of the Judiciary Police (Portugal).
- Led the Northern Delegation of the Asset Recovery Office from 2012 to 2017, contributing to the creation and implementation of the Asset Recovery Office within the national legal framework.
- After promotion to Chief Inspector, led an anti-corruption unit.
- Joined the Judiciary Police (Portugal) in 1995, where, as an inspector, he carried out criminal investigations in the areas of theft/robbery, drug trafficking, homicides, and corruption.
